History
The use of genome-wide microarray gene expression analysis has increased dramatically in recent years as the technology has matured and improved. Many academic and commercial laboratories now use microarray analyses routinely, resulting in the generation of vast amounts of data that are highly dimensional and complex. In-depth analysis is labour intensive, time consuming and ideally requires an expert multi-disciplinary team to make the most of the data that were generated.
Fios Genomics was founded by academics from the University of Edinburgh and the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, Cambridge in response to the ever increasing demand for their expertise in the fields of bioinformatics, pathway biology and software development. The company focuses on services for analyses of gene expression, microRNA, and SNP data. We also offer genome bioinformatics services and will shortly be extending this include next-generation sequence analysis.
The company has an experienced team in place that can simplify the complexity of data analysis by offering an extensive range of genomics analyses services to industry and academic clients.
