The Power of Next Generation Sequencing
We know that making sense of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) data in biology is a difficult task: NGS technologies produce massive datasets and these are useful only if extracted and processed in the right way.
In this video, our team of expert bioinformaticians talk about extracting biological insight from NGS data and the challenges in doing this.
I had a very positive experience collaborating with the team on the bioinformatic analysis of two NanoString datasets from our murine preclinical studies. I was particularly impressed by the depth of the initial discussions, where the team asked relevant biological and study design questions that are often overlooked in standard bioinformatics projects. The analysis was delivered as a comprehensive and well-structured report, which made it easy to navigate and explore different cut-offs and interpretations of the data. Overall, the work provided valuable translational insight for our lead program. Although we were unfortunately not able to pursue the collaboration further due to internal priorities at the time, I would have been keen to continue working with the team.
Thank you so much for all your fantastic work. When we started our collaboration, we didn’t know how lucky we were. Thank you to you all. Both for your deep knowledge within this field and patience with our ignorance but also your impressive responsiveness for our needs.
