Dr Sarah LynaghChief Executive Officer & Data Protection Officer

Dr Sarah Lynagh joined Fios Genomics in April 2012 and has over 20 years’ experience in drug development and commercialisation predominantly within contract research organisations. Sarah was a Research Fellow at Cancer Research UK specialising in the development of novel treatments for colon and ovarian cancers. She then left academia to begin her industry career as a Study Director for Quintiles (Edinburgh) which led to a move to Singapore to establish Maccine, a preclinical CRO specialising in translational models of preclinical safety and efficacy.

After 3 years in Asia, she returned to the UK to join BTG heading up the Preclinical Drug Development team and later Biopta Ltd in the position of Head of Research & Development. Sarah has a degree in Pharmacology and a PhD in Neuropharmacology both from the University of Glasgow.
